You are a private medical laboratory or a medical laboratory within an hospital.
Your laboratory carries out tests to measure various constituents in biological fluids (blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, etc.) or human samples.
AGLAE provides a range of External Quality Assessments for cytological and bacteriological analyses on urine, blood, stools and CSF.
Medical biology analyses
Contenu
- Medical biology covers a wide range of disciplines: biochemistry, haematology, immunology, microbiology, etc.
- Medical biology examinations take place in three stages:
- the pre-analytical phase, which includes taking and transporting biological samples
- the analytical phase, using various techniques (microscopy, culture, automated medical analysis systems)
- the post-analytical phase, with validation and interpretation of the results.
- These tests are used to assess a patient's state of health, diagnose pathologies, monitor illnesses and monitor treatment
Your expectations in terms of Quality Control
Contenu
- As part of your accreditation, your laboratory must meet the requirements of the ISO 15189 standard "Medical laboratories - Requirements for quality and competence" according to the standard scopes for accreditation of medical biology examinations.
- Accreditation of your medical laboratory guarantees the reliability and quality of your medical biology examinations, by checking your competence against that of your peers, other medical labs.
